Technology Corp. was founded in June 1999. The prefix "Acc"
has three meanings; the first one is access, literally, it means to
contact or to get into, specifically, it means broadband access; the
second one is "Acceleration"; the third one is "Accumulation".
Broadband access is usually used to term the equipment that customers
used to access broadband backbone network, in visualization, just
as a car entering a free way via a ramp. In its broadest sense, the
name AccFast, is to bring human beings to broadband life with "Acceleration"
and Accumulate technology power to create a broader life.There are two dimensions to build a broadband life, the first one is the basic broadband infrastructure, and the second one is the content broadband provides. Currently, we can only humble ourselves to be the access to both aspects. For basic broadband infrastructure, we develop xDSL transceiver ICs, as to broadband contents, we develop the key component of digitization --- MP3 encoder/decoder ICs. As a SoC design house, on the one hand, we own the technology and ability to design processors such as DSP, RISC and specific ASIC, on the other hand, we are experts in DSP (digital signal processing) algorithms including telecommunication and speech/audio coding and protocol stacks in telecommunications, which makes AccFast not only a IC provider but a provider of highly integrated system bases on our ICs. With AccFast's highly integrated system, customers can speed up mass production. Based on the technology mentioned above, AccFast develops cost effective SoCs to access broadband life fast. |
